Life is good. I am happy and grateful and look forward to summer, which is fast approaching here, although the weather here is perfect, at least 10 months per year. We are blessed here with probably about 300 wonderful warm and sunny days most years and I love to spend as much time as I can outdoors, by the beach, especially in summer.

I love, love, love, love, love the ocean and wish I could spend all my waking moments by the water. I live about 45 minutes from the coast, but I go there as much as I possibly can. I wish I could live right by the water.

A warm and sunny day by the water, at the beach, by the ocean is my happy place. I just love nature and especially being by the water, taking in the blue sky, the ever changing blue and green colors of the ocean, feeling the wet sand under my feet and between my toes, hearing the waves rolling in and crashing on the beach and having the soft water gently playing around my ankles … HEAVEN … and if the beach is firm and flat I can walk for hours and just taking everything in, the sky, the ocean, the beach, the clouds, the wind, the birds and the peace …

The beaches here are never crowded and everyone seems to be happy, couples walking the beach, families enjoying a day out, kids playing in the water and building sand castles … and happy, healthy dogs, off the leash, running around, playing with other dogs and overflowing with joy …

This is the time when I feel most alive, most present, most in the here and now. Nature, and for me especially the ocean, is a most meditative state of consciousness and being. I absolutely love it. I am always happy, calm, relaxed and present when I am there.

The view to the horizon and the ocean breeze clears the mind and blows out the cobwebs, so to speak. I am most present in mind and therefore clear and focused when I spend time by the ocean, sea, or any water for that matter.

Being present in the here and now, out in nature, by the water, just seems to relax and calm the body, mind and soul. It is so peaceful and nothing soothes the soul better than spending time by the water.

Peaceful, quiet time by the ocean is the time where I am most connected with myself, that’s when I remember who I am, what I need and where I want to go in life.

Of course not everyone is a water and beach lover like myself and back home in Austria I also didn’t have the ocean. We will be moving back to Austria at some point and I know I will miss the weather and the ocean and beaches here and wish I could take it with me. But who knows, what is around the corner, hopefully we will be able to travel and still spend heaps of time by the sea or even live between two places, we’ll see what the future holds. Back home I spent a lot of time by the lake, which is also beautiful, relaxing, calming and soothing. My husband, as well as my parents, are also nature lovers and they especially love the mountains.

All Nature is perfect, whole and complete and has a special calming and peaceful vibration, if it is mountains, forests, fields, rivers, lakes or just a walk in the nearest park, enjoy nature and feel the difference in your own being.

Quiet time in nature is the best therapy. Do you agree?

… I wish I could get paid for walking the beach! …

( … any suggestions? please let me know *smile* …)
